Aimed at/investigated for Smiffy
On some older forums when a user posts to a thread, they will automatically be emailed if a reply is made to that thread. This has never been a default option on BXProject, and nor is it with the latest version of BXP. You can however switch this feature ON if you wish through your User Control Panel. It is found in Board preferences -> Edit Posting Defaults -> Notify me upon replies by default -> Yes.
Hopefully this will resolve Smiffy's issue. However given forum traffic this is not a recommended option!
