I have a problem with strut top mounts

[chin] I think there is a fix kit for these posted somewhere ages back

[chin] Although that may have been the cone shaped ones for the XM?

[chin] Not sure where he was from but I think that's the guy, hence my confusion with the XM.

As far as I remember he re manufactured the cone part by making it in 2 halves and it looked feasible and staightforward to me anyway.
You could even make one yourself out of 1/8th, sorry 3mm, plate even stainless if you wanted..

Just develop your blank mark it every 5mm back to it's centre and bend in the vice a bit at a time till it's formed.
The 2 halves are then bolted together round the head encapsulating the rubber.
That's about all my old brain can remember. I only remember so much because though "what a bloody good idea", at the time
