Lower B/J OE

Post by Bx Bandit » 19 Nov 2007

Is it Lemfeorder - the OE for the ball joints? ECP are doing them for £13 + VAT and as my G(eneral) S(ubstitute) F(uckers) one is shite and failed within 6 months I ain't getting a cheaper one from them. In fact, I'll get me money back.
If OE is not Lemmyfraudster (or however you say the name) does anyone know how much a 'genuine' one is? pt no 96 041 652 I phink....

GSF occasionally supply Lemfrauder, they're ok actually, better than the "El Crappo" joints GSF usually supply.
Genuine joints were £24.70 last time I bought some, but that was a couple of years ago.
That said, the joints on Phoenix are still A1 (genuine) where as I've replaced the joints on the TD twice in that time....pays your money, takes your choice I guess...

See, now this is classic. If the boring but somewhat relevant post of O/E bjs was posted on the bxc, people like Jeremy/m_69er/Bacon Butty would all have some clever itellectual convo about manufacturing tolerances and how the lower ball joint should infact be 19.3478470759083770 mm diamter +/- a manufacturing tolerance of 0.0000238767653585869 mm except on a ZX it's actually 18.08997867463246mm and in 1997 PSA switched suppliers who didn't have a fucking clue zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

But within 2 posts in gone to shite and moved on to the rather immature yet highly amusing topic of blowies!!!

I can hear Jeremy rustling his manuals now :roll::roll:

  you can picture it can't you...

Jeremy sprinting to his little library, salivating like a little curly wurly poodle....his fingers can't move fast enough...he has to be the first to reply...he repeats his mantra ad nauseum "I am the Citroen Oracle, I am the Citroen Oracle.....The Oracle Must Worship the Sorcerer, The Oracle Must Worship the Sorcerer"
