Sorry, the paxman engine wins, coz that's a v12, with a a big napier turbo on it...finest liverpool product.
2.200bhp of pure sex, on each end!! Although it sounds like more, at full throttle, it's only pulling 1500rpm!

you've missed at least 4 cylinders there butt boyo

If 140 BHP can be squeezed out of the 1.6, I could manufacture a Y piece, coming out of the turbo. 2 pipes could be run down either side, incorporating one oval silencer each of proportions,
140 x 55 x 600 long. Tail pipes exiting in front of the rear wheels.

If it`s a good sound you want...without being too noisy....that should do it

Fucking exhaust spontaneously parted company at front pipe before first box on the M4 at 70, I thought a Harrier jump jet was landing on my roof! Tied exhaust up by strap through and under cabin. Turned off the Motorway & drove through Bray village. Going through the narrow High Street it reverberated in a noisy, pleasing & embarassing way!

Kinda make sense, cos when I ran the Morris without the exhaust on it sounded like an old bi-plane kinda kewl tho'....
