*is impressed*
... all landings are in fact controlled crashes, and any crash you can walk away from is a good landing. The definition of a good pilot is a man with the same number of landings as take-offs.

Build trailor.
Get drunk.

So THAT'S why the paint is peelin off!!!!

Doc....as ever you have an ace plan.....trailer building FTW! I had a shit day welding last Thursday...was trying to rush it and access was shit in the o/s front. I had more time on my hands yesterday and today so I've not rushed and found things easier!!

W2G, all the metal has been cut, nibbled and beaten into submission from an old 1/2 an oil barrell found in the stream at the bottom of the garden...it's a bit rusty and battered but that matches the rest of the car!!

Here's the latest....panel welded yesterday primed up:
Image

All welded up on the n/s
Image

Inside the bay...not quite so good
Image

Found more rust....not seen it this bad in these areas before..
Image

Cut out the crap and cleaned up...
Image

I cleaned up the sill-end.....still pondering this one...
Image

Still looks all sound and clean inside the sections....am gonna flood the buggers with waterproof goo called waxoyl!
Doc, do you have an o/s sill end and a brake hose flexi-to-rigid mounting bracket on these scrappers?

Yes mate, I can indeed provide sill ends and brackitry!

Vanny, get your arse into gear and get writing, er, more, you've got the rest of your life to weld rusty shit back together.
Although I must say bandits progress is far faster than mine has been, oh how I wish I had no distractions....

It all depends on the weather Doccers, if it's raining I'm fooked! But I have had a few good days at it with the missus looking after the kids, so I've had little distraction......I couldn't be arsed today tho' so I went swimming with the kids!

I shall try and see you Sunday Doc to give you a hand flat packing the scrappers.....On Sunday Mathew, I shall be..............Doc's Bitch!

Matthew actually will be there on Sunday!

Alas I'm proper fucked up at the mo, so progress may be quite slow, but either way both cars will be raped and disposed of this weekend.
