new problem old shed

Post by charlie » 18 Jul 2008

got wind of a place in the valleys that said they could give me a printout my ecu faults for a £10

phoned em up, told em what xm i had, no problems he said so off i went, nice and easy cause i still had me management light up

and fuck yes when i got their the bastard looked me and the car and shook his head, no cant do that buyo,

i fuckin hate the bastard

anyways started to go home, nice and easy and gets to about 10 miles away from home and the stop light comes on

me thinks fuck, fuck and fuck, what the fucks up now

the high pressure pipe from the pump to the regulator has got a little leak

sorry did i say little, what i meant to say is that it took 10 litres £40 worth of lhm and with a home made patch (piece of hose and a jubilee clip) just to limp round to bandits, two miles away

it fuckin pissed out

youve got two metal pipes and in between a rubber pipe section, and its the rubber bit that had split, all by its self cause ive got a silver xm surfin fuckin shed

and get this citroen want £100 for a new piece

so unless someone knows a quick reliable fix for a split high pressure hose im gonna fuckin hire a something mechanical and make sure me xm will remain a shed forever

bastards

:D About the only work I`vce done on an XM was a repair to that pipe,
I used Some copper 10mm microbore with two pieces of reinforced nylon tube at either end. Once you work out your length you can put in some subtule bends to fit perfect. didn`t use jubilees tho ...used them little stainless things that wrap under, with a longish screw...dead tight they are. :)
72... AND STILL ROCKIN..........around the world...... NOT in a chair yet

Citroen only use 3 sizes. 3.5mm, 4.5mm, and 6.5mm.
If you get through to Pleides, let us know, as I'm running out of pipe.

pleides don't have shit by way of stock last time i called, try bonapart 2cv (there online as well) only in chester and do all the pipe, unions and seals! cheaper than pleides too.

Did you pipe up your car yet smiffy?

I completely re-piped the CX turbo, but it seems every time a hydro citroen goes wrong, they all come to me. I don't mind, but I still need some pipe in case I actually need it!

then mine must be the exception that proves the rule

cause not only does the haynes give 6.35 (1/4 inch) as the diameter

but it measures 6.35 as well

ho hum
