Thicko twat non BX question.

Having read everything in sight i find myself once again drawn to trying some trialling. The obvious candidate for this is my slightly shagged micra. Now the underbody protection i can probably sort out, but how the fuck do i raise the ride height? Longer springs? Or whar?

Don't know anything about Datsuns. Never wanted one TBH. What's the front end made of, are they Mc struts or what?? :?

longer springs and longer struts! this is the key, longer springs will just kill the car. Might be worth some spring protectors (big chunks of rubber in the last two turns of the spring) if your going to be very enthusiastic, it will protect the strutmounts a little.

A less fubared cross-member might be an advantage too :D

When I used to work on the 'NDS Challenge' I always found the Micra's quite good on the wet and greasy decks of various decrepid vessels, so it might be quite good...

won't any of the new stuff front ends fit (or be modified) like a squashedquay or whatever it's called.

Squashedquay is possibly another name for a Marina.

well i either use the slightly rotten k11 or buy a rover 214 and fit streeetwise shocks / springs. It was just a thought. I suppose i could fit 14 inch wheels off an almera.

Have you suddenly freed up a lot of previously clogged time to devote to this new track activity Ted? :)

Not freed up loads of cash, but trialling looks like a fun, reasonably priced way to legally arse about in my car.
