I'll E-mail Bill and ask if he was ever on live at the apollo with James Dean or whoever the fuck it was he may or may not have been on with, unless he wasn't, in which case he can confiem that, unless he was on, but can't rememebr if he was, or who with.

Did he? Fuck me I'm more confused than Peter Andre...any way, James Dean is fucking dead, and he wasn't even a comedian. You've opened a can o' worms not mukka!

Right Bill confirms that he has never been on Live at the Apollo, and indeed, he's never even been to Hammersmith. So it clearly cannot be him.

Pretty sure Bill's never featured in a DVD, or been to Wembley TBH. He's a gas fitter, so unless he's done a DVD on gas related shit then it's unlikely..

The BX from new feels a little flappy, fine if you have the time to hang around while the give and flex bothers to catch up and make the change. Personally i want to change the gear and get on with it pretty quickly and a good positive change is lurvely.
Given that the majority of the movement and feel in the gearchange is down to the box itself rather than the linkage, I suspect even with a zero-play linkage you'll still be somewhat disappointed.

The BE gearbox is a product of late 70's design, and always will be, regardless of when your particular example was actually made.
