I have a problem with strut top mounts
As getting older the bonded rubber is cracking .
Is possible to find replacements in any place ?
I will appreciate any help.Thanks

I think there is a fix kit for these posted somewhere ages back

Although that may have been the cone shaped ones for the XM?

Wasn't there some guy in Romania that could refurm them, originally found via the XM forum?

Not sure where he was from but I think that's the guy, hence my confusion with the XM.

As far as I remember he re manufactured the cone part by making it in 2 halves and it looked feasible and staightforward to me anyway.
You could even make one yourself out of 1/8th, sorry 3mm, plate even stainless if you wanted..

Just develop your blank mark it every 5mm back to it's centre and bend in the vice a bit at a time till it's formed.
The 2 halves are then bolted together round the head encapsulating the rubber.
That's about all my old brain can remember. I only remember so much because though "what a bloody good idea", at the time
