 Love this terminology, the web saying that BXC is "misbehaving"!

Hhmm, is anybody on there who isn't already here worthy though?

I like Adamski BX / CX, in person, he's a nice kid, and lives not far at all from me now, but on the forum he's been known to get a bit arsy.

Shitters? Computer says no.

Mulley.... Computer says no..

Ian Fearn... Whats the point?

PP..... Er, HELLO.... nuff said.

Mr. B? Hell noooooooo.

Marty.. again, whats the fucking point?

Terry from Suffolk? I actually REALLY like Terry, alot. Fucking nice bloke, but would he get our humour?

JonKW? That would at least show him how a proper forum is run!

My dads missing the forum I think, but again, I'm not at all sure the humour on here would be to his taste TBH.. Not taking anything at all away from my old man, he's the absolute best but ya know...

Nope, the only person I can think of that is truely deserving is of course, Tom Sheppard!!:lol::lol::lol::lol: (er, just kidding like....)

I think really (and I know it's not my place to speak at all for I am merely one of a number and by no means at all better than anyone else) that this place has become a tight nit community, I think of you all as extended family, indeed I've met nearly all of you, and I love you all (in a totally hetro kinda way) and all the "newcomers" since the original band of merry men have been "selected" if you will by personal recommendation..

Maybe we need something like grumpycunts has got where by new joining peeps must post in the newbies section whilst all the longer term members rip the piss out of them, if they take it well and have a sense of humour befitting our clan then maybe they could be let in??

Something's happened! :P

There's a definite improvement in BXC today with lightning loads and refreshes so I guess Jon must have weeded the main bugs from the program. :D

He's not posted such positive news yet so perhaps all is not out of the woods but it's a good result so far! :D

Didn't you infer that you had either a barney with him or a savaging from him? :? That might be the reason that he finally got off his arse and did something 'cos your contributions are an asset to him when he is not in humour by-pass mode. :P

Doubt he gives two fucks if I cntribute or not TBH.

I offered some advice, not so much of a technical nature since I aint got none, but I did point out that there were people on th forum that could maybe find a solution, and if it was down to financing that there were people willing to put hands in pockets, me included, and I pointed out that I'm sure no-one would wish to take control of the forum from jon.

In response I was told that things were being worked, to be patient etc etc etc..

I pointed out that being patient is ok if we know how long (ish) we had to be patient for, and would it take so long everyone would have fucked off by then.
He got a bit upset. Thats life. I didn't lose any sleep over it.

Hmmm, strikes me Jon might be running everything off his own computer through an Apache server . . . hmmmm

The irony is that CXclub works just like that, and it works just fine. Granted it's a dedicated server, but it's a tatty old chuck-out machine and domestic broadband...
... all landings are in fact controlled crashes, and any crash you can walk away from is a good landing. The definition of a good pilot is a man with the same number of landings as take-offs.
