Also, for those that have visited me before, will know there are two pubs within 10 mins walking. One, The Ship, down the hill is still crap, but it'll do. The Crown, at the top is the soulless endeavour that tries to be all things to all who enter, but fails miserably, and has the character of andie macdowell.
Have tried another pub, The Bush, about 20 mins walk, but it ticks more boxes than the other two put together, including a rather delicious Warsteiner German Beer

It's also a Camra pub and has two or three guest ales and some of the (very) local Cider!
So, The Bush is now officially my local boozer!
