Working at the DVLA used to be a classic 'sink' job in Swansea - job of last resort. Then the humungous ntl call centre opened - where I worked when family circumstances took me back to Swansea a decade ago - and a lot of people moved there from the DVLA. Most were not the sharpest pencils in the box, but I'd be inclined to think in terms of a paper cut rather than something ..er... worse.docchevron132 wrote:As Vanny said, I get a letter from DVLA informing me that the SORN notice was successful on the bus, only, when I opened said letter it was smeared in "stuff" that looked like dried blood.
So I took it off down to my good friends in Haemotology and got them to test it, all CSI stylee, and sure enough, it is blood.
Never before recieved a letter from DVLA covered in blood, so this was a first!
