Emails on reply to a thread
Originally identified by Smiffy, this board no longer automatically emails a user if there post is replied to. This features is a waste of resource and creates a LOT of junk email, however it can be turned back on. See the guide here;

Web Browsers

If your having a visible problem can you let me know exactly what browser you are using and its version and your operating system. The site only provides support for IE7 and Firefox 3.0.x running from Windows operating systems. I'll try to help with any other browser/OS issues, but NOT if they are hacked/non standard versions (for example AOL browser is a hacked/dirty/useless version of IE7)

Your dead right there mate. That`s why I migrated to Safari. It`s an apple browser for windows and is really sharp, works well with Vista and no arguments with macafee. It`s free as well and has displayed non of the issues raised.

On the our old system it did keep saying I had to send things again before I could use the back button, resulting in double posts, but this has not reappeared with BB3.............. Hooray [bow]

Hiya dudes, has anyone else noticed that we no longer get notified by e-mail when a new post is made to a subject that we have posted on?
Have I got my settings wrong, or is there a problem with the board?

I've noticed that the thread no longer auto scrolls to the most recent post when you click by the name of the unread post either. It's now necessary to pull the scoll bar on the right to the bottom manually since the rework.

hmm i thought that was just me, bugger, they are both two things i can't fix here. The connection is horrifically slow.

Righty then, firstly the 'notify user of topic reply' as a user option Mr Smiff, please have a look in the 'car and project chat' for an explanation.

Also, the autoscrol on selecting 'new unread' i THINK i've solved it, but have run out of new messages to jump to. Will have to wait on this one.

Good to know bandit, i think Chrome is based on a generic platform, so that means there are a fair few browsers that should work perfectly well.
