I hired one for a week whilst on holiday in the Shetland Isles .......I did about 1500miles in it.
I was impressed .......even the gearstick is where it should be [stuck outa the dash  ..............I'm a 2CV driver at heart y'see :P ] ..............the only thing I could fault it on was the visibility when turning right in the rain,I could'nt see a 'kin thing through those huge side/quarter light windows.

the 90bhp picasrhole should never have been made, it's like having a 1.5tud engine in a BX, totally bloody pointless and gut less.

What i like about a car is beign able to see where i'm going, especially when in reverse, but you can rule that out in a picarshole. They're ok, but the c8 is miles and miles better. Though having driven all of the current citroen range (bar the C6 and new C5, but including the 'sports' versions of the c4) and the whole lot is gutless and a bit crap and very french. Poor challengers to the BX!

:) Yeah your right about visibility it`s the front w/screen pillars that cause the problem Tel. You get used to it though.

They`ve cured it on the new C4 version 8)
Vanny you`ve obviously not driven the later version of the 90bhp.
From Jan 03 an uprated turbo was fitted and it made it much more responsive. It doesn`t hang about, giving me 60 in 12secs a top speed of 110mph, will cruise at 90 all day, returning around 50mpg (more if I slow down a bit) and 45 knocking about.
Oh. and did I mention it costs £120 a year to tax!!!!! seats 5 and their gear in absolute comfort or you can strip all the seats out and use it as a van... should never have been made [chin] [chin] [chin]

thats either the 110hp or the 1.6 HDI engine, both of which make the car driveable, but the 90bhp version is crap. I tell you i've driven most of what they have to offer. I need to get myself on another openday so that i can have a bash at the new stuff
