TwatNav Maps...
Does anyone know where i can download (or can email me a copy of) the Europe maps for NavTeq? For some reason I don't feel like paying £60 for it! Bastards.
There's a possibility theres a rerasonable chunk of cash coming our way soon and once some bills are paid i'm planning a roadtrip, hence the need for maps...
Cheers gays...

I wouldn't have the foggiest jay but you could try the good old fashioned paper map system I have a few of France/Europe (about 10 yrs old mind ) but I can bung them int post like
....There he goes, one of God's own prototypes, a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production......too weird too live.....and too rare to die

Re: TwatNav Maps...
I have a "PROPER" Euromapbook only a couple of years old. Lost count of the morons nearly wiping me out whilst glaring at their twatnav and pushing buttons.
I usually plan a route on Google maps and print blow ups of any uncertain bitz + the read out. I use the main mapbook at stops and to re jig if there are hold ups.
Much safer and I actually know where I'm going.

Re: TwatNav Maps...
I have a very well planned out map (well, except the section from the San Bernardino Pass to the Netherlands avoiding Germany but i'm working on that) but you have to plan for contingencies so twat-nav support would be useful!
I just (can't afford and) refuse to pay the stupid money they want for it, even on fuckwitbay...

1, it's full of Germans... (don't mention the war Basil)...
2, Most of the places worth visiting all have the LEZ and my motor (non-cat) doesn't qualify for a green badge...
3, there's planty nicer places on the way round

There are lots of nice places all over europe and I've worked in quite a few.
Strange as it may seem I got on best with people across Germany.
The Italians will vanish for a couple of shifts, then come in with a half hour apology and explaination as to why it was totally impossible for them to get in.
The French will do the same, arrive back and say nothing. If you ask or pull them up about walking off a contract with a deadline, you get called a Kraut.
The Swedes are somewhat like us but a bit shy believe it or not, the Danes also but without the shyness.
Never been to Spain of Portugal.
Never needed a slacknav though

Well, Pirate bay has a key gen for tom tom maps - so I assume you download the map you want from tom tom then use the key gen facility to access it without paying silly money

Oh, and there is the map:
