We would like to inform you of an upcoming migration of the 1&1 Web
servers:

In the course of our system maintenance, your 1&1 hosting package will
be migrated to an updated operating environment in the period from 24
October to 28 October 2011 in order to continue to provide you with
the best and most secure environment for your hosting package.

This does not require any preparation or adjustments on your part,
the migration is fully automated. However, you hosting package will
not be available between 8:00 AM and 06:00 PM for about 5-10 minutes.
Subsequently, all applications will be available as usual.

For technical reasons, we cannot specify the exact migration date.
