Well we seem to have got through best part of another year so I would like to wish you all a very happy christmas ,

Thanks Mickey, and a happy midwinter holiday to you and yours....OK, Yes, you lot as well.
They have had her up and doing a few steps and today she was sat in the chair when we got there. Not quite as good as yesterday but all the morphine is more of less out of her system now and she's just on tabs. Also, everything changed in an instant and this is the first day she has had time to realise the enormity of what's happened and that the next 12 to 16 weeks will be tough. That said, knowing her, she will get over it and get on with it pretty soon.
It's free visiting tomorrow so she will have someone there all day. Although we will give the kids and rest of the family and receive their prezzies, My daughter and Dek and me won't open ours, then we can have a prezzie opening session when she comes out.

Right it's time to go visiting again. CU later.

But yeah, happy festive shite for those that do celebrate it all.
Hope the missus makes a full and speedy recovery mate, but out of the loop, must catch up!
