Yehey. I was the same Bandit. It wasn't registering my link, I'll have to change it.
I was on BX club and mat gave me this link.
I also was on when the dirty deed was done and got nasty virussy things.
I got little screens flashing about all over the big screen, then a picture of some bird and a voice laughing saying, You've just been hacked by Caspar's mom. Then a graphic saying only kidding.
Well it wasn't. If I tried to open a programme it kept saying you can't, it's infected, buy AV security now. The one programme I could open was Spyware Doc, but after a scan it said I was clear....but it wasn't. If I left it alone I got adverts for german porn links ( I saved some addresses)
I could get on to anything by using my missis's log on and password no problem, but sweet FA on my side. However Yesterday I tried again and I get a message from Spyware Doc that it has eventually killed the beast and all is now OK.

Can someone explain to me what it is all about? what do they do it for? where's the payback? sure beats me !!!!

Why do they do it? Probably the same reason that in the days before computers, little shits would go round in gangs and smash people's greenhouses etc. Although now there's even less chance of being caught.

Yes I get your point Mat, but then you could watch the reactions and would only do it in retaliation or the bloke was an utter twat, a bit like knocking on a door and running to where you can watch.
But this is not fun, they don't know who they affect and can't watch the result, so it's utterly pointless.

I don't know why but the new address won't stay in my bookmark list, or at least it doesn't work when I click on it.
