trs auto

Post by mickey taker » 26 Mar 2008

ok the water pipe between the thermostat and the top of the auto gearbox area split on the TRS today ,

went to Euro car parts and got the ,
sorry mate we dont do them here ,
same from all the local car factors

anyone know where else I could try ?

its for an 87 trs auto petrol

have temporarily fitted a nice long length of 16mm bore water pipe , had to leave it long to stop the pipe flattening out where its supposed to bend if that makes any sense , but would like to fit the right one

also has any one had any luck finding a spare ignition barrel and key for me as I want to spend some time on the trs sorting it out for Richard

halfords do magical bendy pipes for bodge repairs that work really really well. they are concertinaed so they don't collapse

i dont have a spare ignition (thought i did but have been through the rents and its not there)

Those pipes are NLA mate, and have been for some time.
I'm making some up for dads auto's with silicone straight bits and copper bends.

:oops::oops: Yes I have a barrell, and should have posted it to you yonks ago, but forgot, cos I'm useless...

I'll attend to it, it's a 6 wire effort.

I did a temporary job on the 16v using copper piping and some rad hose cos me next door neighbour was gonna go halves with me on a length of the stuff than Vannster mentioned...but it never turned up  Sounds like you'll have to do a Suggs Special for the repair!
