it was a new battery in January and if I dont use the car every day it goes flat.
with Julie being home I have been using the camry but as we go on holiday tomorrow and tow the caraven with the trajet I thought I better check it over.
there is a relay by the battery for the 12s towing socket
(12s supplies power to charge the caravans battery and run the fridge )
there were brown water stains by the terminals of the relay so thought I would have a closer look ,
opened up the relay and water had got in causing rust between the terminals which had shorted out and caused an open circuit hence the battery being drained. new relay with an on off switch and its sorted
But how did the water get in there in the first place
