Here's a few simple tips to aid with the unpleasant job of changing a steering rack on a PAS equipped BX.
1: Sell the car
2: Burn the car
3: Crash the car and claim on insurance.
Job done.

Arsehole of a job.
Oddly it's one of those jobs that seem to get harder and take longer everytime I fucking do one.
Dads was a piece of piss by comparison, being auto and all, less wank attached to the rack like.
1/1000000 of a turn more like, utter shit bit of design.

It's easier with the subframe dropped a bit, but I couldn't be arsed to drop it.
