Erm.. yeah.... I of course have NEVER worna dress, especially not a leopard print number, or a blue satin thing that was far too short...

Erm, what revelations happened then W2G?
Have I missed something?
Other than French Driver being Kiwi and fixing his own problems via PMing himself?

Dresses seemed popular attire for rock group members and comedians ala Eddie Izzard for a period. :) I'm not sure we need pictures of Bandit and Ted next time they indulge. :P

Revelations are not chapter&verse Doc, mainly just ongoing obsevations on BXC and watching it trying to find its way again. Anyway 2+2 could be equalling 5 with all this French Driver, DJdeft (now axed?) and other unknown "distortions" over there!

Surely that would make them a FROCK group [coat]

Eh? What are you on about? :? As far as I can tell nothing seems out of the ordinary...what have I missed?
I do have a bit more enthusiasm for the place at the moment, now I have a hand in the running of it - gives a bit of extra motivation not to see it all go down the pan.

"Distortions" was a euphemism for the apparent dodgy duplicate accounts that appeared quickly as a rash over there.

I'm glad you've got enthusiasm to tackle it positively Matt because I hope to see it regain good standing.

I believe an announcement needs to be made though on who's doing what over there though because I felt angry about the Ellevie /Steve situation and everything was promised to be open, discussed and no secret mods ever again after that time. Somehow the sorting was then left in mid-air and I wish you well in your stewardship getting things now sorted fairly in the right way. :D

It's fairly common knowledge over here about me and Chris, but I wanted Jon to announce the hand over on BXC as (to my mind) that seems more fitting (kind of an 'official approval'). I have asked him, but I think he's also fairly busy with changing the webserver and possibly upgrading the forum software.
So, yes there will be an announcement soon, and hopefully complete clarity.

Thanks for the support!

To want to have Jon make that announcement is totally understandable and hopefully spikes the guns of any dissenters and backbiters. A handover needs to be seen as official, it would not be right to "self-announce".

It will though be interesting for you to review the 1141 menbers on the list and see which are the dormant and abused accounts. The dead wood clearly is significantly larger than the living interest.

When I posted that link to the Czech BXClub the other day, I noticed that they erase accounts that haven't posted (or accessed?) in the last 6 months but before taking this action, post the usernames up so there is a chance for a response from them or others.

As I understand it Jon will be making an announcement this week.

I do agree that the memberlist needs addresing though, there's alot of non member members.
Dont actually know whats happened to DJDeft, but I'm sure it was Tom, so if the accounts been binned thats a shame, Tom is always fun! Especially in disguise!

There's no doubt French Driver is Kiwit, not in my mind anyhow, AFAIK the other forum he saw French Driver post on could only really be AF, and he aint posted on there..

I also agree that total openness and transparancy are required, I dont want to see BXC die, and I dont want a re-run of the third reich..

I've made a start on weeding out the spam members, i.e. the one's that have a random collection of letters as a username (unlike jacksun1987, who just posts up a random collection of letters) and are blatantly just trying to sell porn or similar through their listed website, but it's taking a while...

Alan Partridge moment here ... (as in name of 80s Norwegian pretty-boy popstars)

So I guess I'll just carry on posting about superannuated supermodels and their suspension quirks for the time being .......

the whole, 6 month and your off rule has been on here since day one. However it is done based on LAST ACCESS and NOT last posting. Also, sign ups that dont post or access within 3 months are killed off. Its all in the TOC what y'all agreed to when you started but not one of you actually read.

Why do i do this, years of experience of dormant members not getting moved on. And as i simply delete there accounts, they are able to sign back up as the same name, unlike banned members who can't rejoin with the same name!

I must say that I do prefer some things stay on a more-or-less technical level as opposed to an anal one (with hot air cunningly disguised as an inert gas allegedly less affected by ambient temperatures).
