Errrr, no, it's a pun, word association etc. As in, Doc's unscrews and Phil say's his only screws (i.e the opposite direction to Doc's unscrewing cock, but a clever retort as not only is it opposite (i.e. unscrew vs screw) but the verb To Screw is what one would normally do with their cock - it was both a play on words and in a sense a double entendre) I chipped in with "Mine is a self tapper" which is a kind of screw that needs no thread as it cuts it's own, which is in contrast with the 'normal' assumption that a screw has a male thread and opposing female thread which are cut by very hard tools called 'taps' and 'dies' resulting in an engineered approach.

So, not only does my quip attempt to add to the general direction of the thread humour, it also contrasts with the 'engineeredness' (i.e. the male/female cut threads) in an unexpected direction but also adds the element of coarseness, although it is not meant in a sexual or rugged manner necessarily, but more of a 'anything goes' kind of approach. It's the linking of the underlying humour of the thread with an added dimension, sidestep, or link....a play on words like.

Now I've explained it like that it don't sound funny at all - kinda takes the humour out if it!

Where the fuck does bannisters fit in?

      Pure gold Bandit. I'm fucked for a response......................................

Erm... To add to the engineering context, whilst not ignoring the sexual connotation and furthering the double entendre,....all I can come up with is ..............................

......I'd rather have any type of screw than a Golden Rivitt.....fine or coarse :P
