I've had, er, 6 valvers now I think, maybe more..
I've got the earliest survivng P1 valver in stock right now, although it's a scrapper, tis fucked beyond belief.

But they really are very special cars if you get a good one. One day, I might have a good one!

:? :? :? :? I thought you were whacked out with all things BX Doc???

[chin] Vanny has a point there though Doc. If you were to get hold of a good rolling chassis or a newish shell, you could build the ultimate Valver.
I heard the body flexes around the back end of the sills/front of rear wheelarch, under extreme conditions. If this be the case, working from scratch you could cure any ill's along the way too. :D :D .

yeah, cant really be arsed though!
The P1 is dead, nothign at all on it worth saving, even the plastics gone rusty, and the mechanicals are wankered, so I'd really have to build a new car from scratch, and that I cant be fucked with.
The black shed is good enough for me, or at least will be when I get a new radius arm for it..

I will restore the TD when the bus is done, but other than that I think my days of major BXage are gone now. Too old, not enough time left and frankly not enough interest in French shit boxes!

/\ I can't! A ruddy narrow boat is Doc all over I keeps tellin' yers!

Besides, the 16v is rather a special car and I love drivin' it. But there's always the calmness and assurability of the TD. Win-win!

Happy enough with the bus TBH mate.
Although the boat will happen at some point.
As wil rebuilding the TD, even more so now, I killed it today..

The only bike I'd really like is an Aerial square four, or maybe an Indian with the suicide shift, I'd never ride either of them, but I like the way they look!

My landlord has a Vincent, which he bought 2 years back... it looks lovely, but there is NO WAY I could afford such a machine.... I just look on the net, and there is a 1951 HRD rapide, for sale, and it can be yours for just €51,500!!!

 How many pint's That's just not sustainable

:D On the other hand you could pick up a working BSA M21 600 for about £600 and have just as much fun.

If it breaks down all you need is a coin, matchbox, a piece of string and an elastic band, sorted!!!!!

No shit, it REALLY does have a supercharger, or at least is in process of having one fitted, although IIRC it is now fitted.

The TD had a water pipe fail on the M5. By the time I'd stopped and discovered there wasn't much I could do other than carry on to work the head became rather banana shaped.

No matter though, the valver is all fixorised and sat out front ready and eager to please!
