The violence has spread to Wales too - Blaenau Ffestiniog has seen a gang of local youths overturn a sheep and set fire to it. Fortunately the constant drizzle put out the blaze before widespread damage occurred. Attempts to torch the town's slate shop were unsuccessful...

2 idiots, 1 in Warrington and 1 in Wigan, sent out messages to try to organise riots for tonight on Face bollux or twatter or some such.
They were both arrested this afternoon

Fancy a go with your Katanas Mickey. Never did much sword work really, you can only do weapons once you achieve black belt in Go ju ryu, which is my discipline.
I chose scythes which are like big knife sized tridents...an awesome tool.

it seems in Brum they use cars..
Interesting times here. After a night of rioting there was a large police presence, and the last couple of nights twn has been quite eerie and very quiet, bar the odd group of yoofs loitering in fairly small numbers, clearly looking for grief, but the plod have been all over them.. Still cars being torched in random places though..

Nothing happened In or around Portsmouth, but then the riots were much more than 10 miles away and even Southampton has the status of a foreign country to some here. I once went out for a drink locally with some people I worked with and an objectionable little oik rounded on a bloke with Blackburn burr to his accent, claiming this proved he must be from Southampton....
