Remember that really anal, boring thread on BXC about rebuilding my dad's car?

Well, I'm about to start another similarly boring and anal thread on here documenting the restoration of 'Moby 2'

(The one at the front of the queue of 3 black P2's!)

Most;y getting rid of all the rust (of which there is an alarming amount)
Re-piping and a bit of mechanical shit like wishbone bushes and anything else I find as I go.

I've decided to start at the front and work back, since the front end is the least rotten, so I shouldn't get too pissed off too quickley!

Feel free to insult or hurl abuse as it goes!

Well, yes and no..

I never actually took any pics before panel beating the crap out of the car to make it usable, but I have a fair few of the post panel beating look. Which wasn't much better..

I'm starting this weekend (well Sunday really, I;m actually working Saturday:shock:) so I'll bung some piccies up then!

Well, the guys on here are anyways...

I didn't work that hard on yours Vanny, I fucked off before it was finished!
Got the same problem with women like!

I'm actually working (at work) the next two Saturdays, but I'll be tinkering away both Sundays and every weekend thereafter till the jobs done.
Sorting out the cow damage is the easy bit.
Getting ALL the tin worm out of it and making sure it dont come back will be the more interesting bit.
It's rotted in places I've never seen a BX rot before.

Not to mention the fact that the place is infested with fucking rats! I've pulled 2 rats nesta out of my CX's, and I think they are starting to build annother in the battery tray.
I bet your BX's are not doing any better......
Still, I wonder if I sprinkle some bicarbonate of soda around.....exploding rat anyone?

The rats are under control, haven't quite won the war yet though..
Although, we may be moving base to Caldicott in the near future, in a proper building!

Not checked out the pub situation yet dude, but we're off to view potential new premises on Monday, despite it being commercial lease it's actually cheaper than where we are now!
Not including the rates of course, but I'll hap[pily pay a bit more for a proper building with decent floor and roller shutter door etc..

I usually take bottled beer up the farm, but a good local that doesn't mind oily overall wearing hairy men in will be a priority!
