im on the xm forum when i get this mail

XM WIDOW has sent you this email from http://club-xm.com/forum2/index.php.

My other half is disposing of 3 (spare) XM's (we have agreed!)
1 hatch 2.5, 1 Estate 2.5, and 1 hatch 2L petrol turbo auto with leather which he will probably break for spares.

Proceed with caution. It may turn out to be genuine... but I wouldn't bet on it. Meet Lynda and husband at their house and check documentation carefully before you hand over any money. Don't give them your address, either...

id think id prefer a 2.1 but the 2.5 are all manuals and more of them come with exclusive interior spec

The 2.1 is a really sweet engine, and plenty tuneable.
The 12 valve head is a bit weak and doesn't actually breathe that well, but it's still a beast of an engine. Especially in the S2 with the electronic pump.

The 2.5 was thirsty, not really anymore powerful, sounds like a tractor, has TWO fucking radiators, the tuning potential is very limited, and it has TWO fucking balance shafts.

got into a spot of bover with the email cause i decided to put it on the "available" forum on the xm site

and the dear lady did not appreciate it, noz who runs things, took her phone number off and said dont put peoples phones num public, which i suppose is fair comment but he didnt delete all the post

she also demanded in another email to me, that i remove the post completely, but me thinks that the poor little widow was trying to eat me all up so i'll just leave it be
