Is PPs just a tail pipe or a complete back box? I was gonna just put t/pipe on mine until I realised the whole thing was fucked but just fitting a t/pipe will have going like PP's is. If you want it straight (PP would have that anyway would he??
) then you see the clamp and evreefink and so looks naff. His 'size' looks about right tho'!!

Well, yeah, really...
Better than it does now might have been a better way of putting it..
Bandit, PP's is a complete back box, all done in shiny stainless...shame the rest of the underside of his car wasn't stainless really....

No need to actually "lower" the suspension. From the sound of it, one of the rear hard pipes will undoubtedly burst when it's next in high, and bring the car crashing down on him.

Indeed, for the whole weekend! I know some people have issues with the CCC, but frankly who gives a fuck? I go there to look at the cars, and to enjoy many bottles of beer, and have a laugh with the loonies from this fine place!

I dont go to look at cars, and I couldn't give two fucks about the CC, although I'm a member.
I go to get pissed and have a laugh with the great and good.
The national and Stratfoed were two highlights of the year...admitedly this year has been utterly wank, but non-the-less they were both fucking good fun, thanks entirely to the company.
I'm very glad Vanny and JD talked me into going to Stratford, it was a hoot!

I'm glad we talked you into it.......it put an otherwise missing smile back on your face, which at the time, you needed!

hmmm, JayW came all singing and dancing into the BX world about three years ago, bought two valvers straight off with the plan to have one as a track day car and one as an every day driver. I've been round the track with him as a passenger on a totally standard valver with cheap tyres on and he was deffinately quick!
Anyways, about 6-8 months ago some shit kicked off on the 16v.com forum, not really sure what started it or propagated it (i wasn't involved for once), but Jay through a sulk and stormed off it a feat of obnoxious posts. Never did get to the bottom of it or understand why, but within a couple of weeks he sold one of his valvers (probably your Mick). Then he scrapped one, and now it looks like he's scrapping the other!
As Mick will probably attest to, Jay undersells the quality of items he sells on eBay so if he says its in good condition its probably in stunningly mint condition! I'd love to have the money for the system AND be able to collect AND meet Jay again, but i cant' so i wont

I emailed him when I saw the car up for scrapping, hoping he'd quote me a figure but as he'd had so many enquiries about the same thing he's flea-bayed it. I expect it will go beyond my league price wise. May have a fling on it tho'. What do you think it's worth then?
Also, it has the 'wonky' tail pipe which really bugs me, I'd prefer a straight thro'.
The local company has quoted £150 for a back box, custom built. AFAIK thats a reasonable price, but I started considering an off the shelf one under the assumption it would be cheaper. Can't find any tho'. Any pointers for off the shelf back boxes??
Thanks for posting up the linky Charlie

I'm sure he's aware of this place...
I'm also sure he still has the white P2.
Er, the OTHER white P2...
And no, wasn't me that got the exhaust, nor did I bid..
I'm thinking about having a stainless made for mine now..
Mildly tweaked, but not too much, I tried mine with a sidewinder, minus the cross box.
Sounded lovely for 10 minutes, then it just got irritating and tiring on long trips..
Does give an extra 6BHP at the wheels with the cross box removed though!
