Christ isn't the weather just ghey???
Anyway, shiny new plugs, a new intake snorkle, air filter and various other bits installed.
Changed the LHM, and even after a lowly 2 years and 17K miles the shit that came out was horrid.
And the filters were damn near clogged. Cant quite work out why given that it was run on hydraflush for 1K miles when I first put the old shed on the road...
Anyway, nice shiny filters and tank:
Then I made a HUGE mistake.
Seeing as I sprayed the sill skirts in acrylic (it's what I could get at the time, and it's usually quite forgiving) I thought Halfrauds acrylic clear lacquer would do the job nicely.... Oh how wrong was I!
It's all gone milky and flat.
I'm hoping it'll flat back ok, but if not I'll have to start again...
and I've still got to do the whaletail yet....
Ok so it's wet, so it looks better than it actually is, but I reckon it looks rather ok:
Off to get some quartz 7000 and de-ionised water in the morning, then I can change the oil pressure sender unit, and fit a brand new speedo head (which cost ALOT!)
